New rules for foreign-worker declarations and fees

A package of changes to the rules on employing foreigners took effect on 1 December 2025. The fee for a declaration on entrusting work to a foreigner rises from 100 PLN to 400 PLN, and work-permit fees now run from roughly 100 to 800 PLN depending on the permit type and duration.

There is also a change to the list of countries covered by the simplified declaration procedure: Georgia has been removed. Declarations already registered for Georgian nationals remain valid until their original expiry, but new ones will need to follow the standard work-permit route.
