Minimum wage 2026: 4,806 PLN gross

From 1 January 2026 the statutory minimum wage in Poland is 4,806 PLN gross per month, with the minimum hourly rate set at 31.40 PLN. Unlike previous years, there is a single rate for the whole of 2026 rather than a mid-year increase.

The new floor ripples through payroll: it raises the basis for several allowances and surcharges (such as night-work and standby pay), affects the minimum sick-pay base, and changes the threshold at which salary is protected from deductions. Employment contracts that quoted the old figure should be updated.
