What counts as an Erasmus+ traineeship in digital skills?
A traineeship counts when the trainee practises at least one of the digital activities the Commission lists, such as digital marketing, building software or websites, IT systems, cybersecurity or data analytics. Generic customer support, order fulfilment, data entry and office tasks do not count. It is marked in Table A of the Learning Agreement.
The definition
The Commission lists the activities: digital marketing (for example social media management and web analytics); digital graphical, mechanical or architectural design; development of apps, software, scripts or websites; installation, maintenance and management of IT systems and networks; cybersecurity; data analytics, mining and visualisation; and programming and training of robots and artificial intelligence applications.
One of them is enough, as long as the trainee practises it. Generic customer support, order fulfilment, data entry and office tasks are not in this category.
How it is recorded
If the traineeship is one in digital skills, the parties tick “yes” in the relevant field of Table A of the Learning Agreement for Traineeships. In higher education these are the Digital Opportunity Traineeships, for students and recent graduates to develop or acquire digital skills.
Our tracks
At MEYİS, two tracks meet the definition and can be marked as such: 05, digital marketing and content, and 09, software, web and digital agency, hosted by Orlena Digital. The other tracks are not: their main tasks are not on the Commission’s list, and some, such as customer support and office tasks, are expressly left out.
What we are asked about this

No. Generic customer support is expressly left out, as are order fulfilment, data entry and office tasks.
