Erasmus+ traineeships in Warsaw for participants from Türkiye
Vocational high schools and universities in Türkiye send learners, students, graduates and teachers to our office in central Warsaw. We sign what your National Agency application and the Polish visa need, and our team works with your participants in Turkish.
- A Schengen visa (type C)
- Up to 90 days
- A Polish national visa (type D)
- Over 90 days
- Orientation, daily guidance and our calls with you
- In Turkish
How it works for you
- Before you apply to the Turkish National Agency, we sign a letter of intent and send our organisation details for your application form.
- For the visa we send each participant’s signed acceptance letter and the Learning Agreement. Visa applications are made in person at VFS Global centres in Türkiye.
- Learners under 18 need a notarised consent from their parents for the visa, and teachers from your school can travel with them.
- The visa needs health insurance with at least €30,000 of cover for the whole stay; the Learning Agreement says who arranges it.
- Our Turkish-speaking team runs the orientation and is there every day for questions in Turkish.
What we are asked about this
01 Which visa do our participants need?
For up to 90 days in any 180, a Schengen visa (type C); for longer, a Polish national visa (type D). Both are applied for in person at a VFS Global centre in Ankara, Antalya, Gaziantep, İstanbul, İzmir or Trabzon. The Polish consulates in Türkiye publish separate type D checklists for an internship and for study (including Erasmus+): ask which one applies to your participants before they book an appointment.
02 Do participants with a special (green) passport need a visa?
Not for up to 90 days: Poland exempts holders of Turkish special passports from the visa for short stays. A traineeship longer than 90 days still needs a national visa (type D).
03 When should we contact you?
Before you send your application to the National Agency, so that our letter of intent goes with it. For a project that is already funded, at least 8 weeks before the start, or 12 weeks when your participants need a visa.
04 Do you really speak Turkish?
Yes. Several members of our team speak Turkish, so orientation, daily guidance and our calls with your school can be in Turkish.
