Why MEYİS

A host sending organisations can rely on

A dependable partner for sending organisations, and a strong start in European working life for participants.

A team that speaks Turkish and English

Orientation, daily guidance and mentoring can run in English or Turkish. Participants settle in without a language barrier and practise their languages in an international office where English and Polish are spoken.

Real work, real responsibility

Trainees work on real client processes under a mentor’s supervision, not on simulations. Every task is tied to a learning outcome in the Learning Agreement.

Award-winning, quality-first

ORŁY Rachunkowości GOLD in 2025 and 2026. Every tax return is checked by a second person before it is filed, and trainees learn that culture from day one.

A practical school of doing business in Europe

EU VAT, Polish employment and social-security law, company formation, customs and transport licences: the core processes of international business, in one office.

A multicultural workplace

A team serving clients in seven languages, and clients from many countries: a natural setting for intercultural communication.

Several sectors within one group

Depending on interests, traineeships in office services, leasing and insurance, a digital agency, international trade and e-commerce, through MEYİS Academy.

Traineeship tracks

11 tracks, each with a learning plan

Participants are placed by field of study and goals. Tasks are planned with the mentor to fit the participant’s level and the length of the traineeship; long traineeships can rotate into a second track.

Frequently asked questions

What sending organisations ask us most

01 Does a host organisation need an Erasmus accreditation?

No. Under the Erasmus+ rules, any organisation can host learners and staff coming from a partner organisation abroad. The sending organisation runs the application and the grant; as the host organisation, MEYİS provides the traineeship programme, the mentoring and the documents.

02 Do participants need to speak Polish?

No. The working languages are English and Turkish. The recommended English level is A2 to B2 depending on the track. Polish is needed only for Polish-focused translation traineeships.

03 Are trainees paid?

No. Participants receive Erasmus+ individual support through the sending organisation. MEYİS provides the mentoring, the workspace, a computer, software access and training materials.

04 Do you provide accommodation?

No, MEYİS does not provide accommodation. We advise the sending organisation and participants on districts with easy public transport to the office, and on accommodation options.

05 Who arranges insurance?

At least accident and liability insurance is required and is expected from the sending organisation. Health insurance is the participant’s or the sending organisation’s responsibility.

06 How far in advance should we contact you?

At least 8 weeks before the traineeship starts, or at least 12 weeks before if participants need a visa. If you are still writing your grant application, contact us earlier for a letter of intent.

07 Can learners under 18 take part?

Yes. Working hours for participants under 18 are arranged within the legal limits in Poland. When learners travel with accompanying teachers, we plan the programme together with the sending organisation.

08 Can our teachers come for job shadowing?

Yes. Under the Erasmus+ rules, job shadowing for VET staff lasts 2 to 60 days, and each participant needs a named main mentor at the host organisation. We prepare programmes in accounting, office management, marketing and international trade.
